What I Got For Christmas 2014!

Hey you guys! Wow, it has been a while since I posted. Basically, I just wanted to wait until after Christmas to post again because..well...I knew I'd have nothing interesting to post before Christmas. So here it is, what I got for Christmas. I realize I'm like the last person on the planet to post this, but whatever.

So first off, here's a picture of most of my gifts all together. I have others not pictured, but that's because they were not available at the time. I will add pictures of the other items, but I will insert a stock photo of my new purse because it's currently in my car and I cannot take a picture of it at the moment. I will also be inserting stock photos of the DVDs I received because I already put away the cases and stored the DVDs in my collection.

Some of the most exciting gifts I received were, of course, the Lorac Pro Palette & The Lorac Pro Palette 2. I am absolutely in love with both of these palettes. I took advantage of the Cyber Monday deal when I bought these for Christmas and it was such a good decision. I love all of the shades in these palettes and I know I'll get lots of use out of them.

Moving on to t-shirts I got, two of them are from BustedTees and the MIW shirt is from MerchNow. I love all of these shirts and I cannot wait to wear them, especially the Eeveelution one.

In keeping with the clothing theme, here are the sweatshirts and hoodie I received! I received the Front Porch Step & Elf sweatshirts from my parents and my grandma gave me the Nikita hoodie, which I am kind of obsessed with. I'm obsessed with all of these clothing items. Love them.

The other gift I received from my grandma is this adorable heart shaped ring with my birthstone inside. I absolutely love birthstone rings and my birthstone is absolutely perfect, in my humble opinion. I will always be obsessed with rubies.

This pair of Doc Martens may be my favorite thing I got for Christmas. They are so comfortable and cute and just I love them so much. They honestly didn't take long to break in at all. I heard horror stories of people's feet bleeding while they broke them in and taking months to break them in, but honestly it only took a couple of weeks for me to break mine in. I love love LOVE these so much. I got them at Journeys and they are just the black patent leather ones, not sure of the style.

I got this HUGE Betsey Johnson tote as well. It is gigantic and I love it. Betsey Johnson purses are my absolute favorites. They are so cute and perfect and I just love them. I haven't had a purse I can actually carry on my should in forever, so this one is just phenomenal for me. I love it. It's so adorable..just..the floral print does it for me. It's so spacious and perfect and I can fit my life in it, which is always what I want.

I got three DVD sets as well, because I am absolutely obsessed with collecting movies and TV shows. I am determined to have the best DVD collection ever and I think I'm doing a pretty great job. I love Austin Powers so much and Match Game is my favorite game show ever, so those are perfect sets for me. Every movie in the comedy collection is fantastic and I adore them, aside from Grumpy Old Men. I never liked that movie. So I gave it to my dad.

My final gifts were a couple of pairs of jeans from American Eagle and I don't feel it necessary to individually photograph them because they're simple skinny jeans. All in all, I am extremely happy with this Christmas and I hope that all of you have had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season if you don't celebrate Christmas, or even if you do. If you didn't have such a great holiday season, just remember that it's okay and everything will get better eventually. You are loved and important and money isn't everything. Have a great day, lovelies. ♥

November Favorites!

Hey everyone! Today I have my favorite products of the month and I'm so excited to share them with you guys! All of them are makeup products and I'll insert links at the end to each product.

My first favorite is an eyeshadow by Shiro Cosmetics. It has been my go-to eyeshadow this month and I've just been obsessed with it ever since I got it. I seriously ordered the full size of this a couple days after I got the sample in the mail. I am so obsessed. It doesn't crease and it lasts all day, I just love it so much. The swatch on my hand is without primer or anything, that's its true color.

My next favorite is the 'Miss Manga Mascara' by L'Oreal. Before I started using it, I was using the Benefit 'They're Real' mascara and honestly, this mascara works better than that one. I love it so much and it's so affordable; I use it daily.

Another item that I use daily is the clear Maybelline 'Great Lash' mascara. I apply it before applying my actual mascara and it definitely helps lengthen my lashes. There's a noticeable difference when I use it than when I don't.

I finally hopped on the bandwagon and bought a NYX jumbo eye pencil in 'Milk' and it has been a life saver. Lately, I've been rather dissatisfied with my eye primer and decided to try using this in combination with it and it has worked wonders. My eyeshadow looks much more vibrant and lasts much longer without creasing.

Lastly, I have a Mac lipstick in 'Diva'. I was going to make a post about it, but by the time it arrived, I was too tired to do it. So now I've included pictures of the product itself and a swatch. This is the second Mac lipstick that I've actually owned and the first one I've fallen in love with. I have a Viva Glam lipstick, but I don't like it all that much. I bought it on a whim and I kind of regret it. However, this lipstick is lovely and I look forward to wearing it many times. I actually wore it on Thanksgiving and I think it looked nice. It is a matte finish, which is my favorite and it lasted through me eating and drinking all day Thursday, so that was wonderful!

Here are a couple of pictures of me on Thanksgiving. As you can see, the lipstick is rather dark on the lips, which I enjoy.

As always, thank you so much for checking out my blog and I hope you enjoyed this post & maybe it was helpful for some of you! Have a great day and an awesome holiday season! ♥

Shiro Cosmetics Haul & Swatches!

Today I received my Shiro Cosmetics package and it was full of lovely goodies. I received the products I ordered plus an extra sample, which I wasn't expecting but greatly appreciated. I swatched each shadow and will include pictures below as well as pictures of how the items arrived. I also received a packet of Starburst, which was a wonderful treat!

The items came in a small, plain bubble-wrapped envelope and inside was my order sheet, Starburst, and a small wrapped bag. Upon opening the bag, I found my eyeshadows.

The largest product I received was a shadow in the shade "Master Ball" and it is from the Super Effective collection. It's a lovely pink color, although not quite what I expected. I must admit that I took out the sifter because the product was packed so tightly into the jar that it wouldn't come out. After removing the sifter, I was able to use it much more easily. Either way, I love the shadow.

"Mother of Dragons" is from the Seven Kingdoms collection and it is a very unique shade because it can appear to be both red and gold at the same time. It's very iridescent and I like it a lot, can't wait to use it. I also want to add that these sample sizes are very generous; I'll get many uses out of them.

"Lock, Shock, & Barrel" is an interesting shade from the Halloween collection that Shiro Cosmetics had. It was part of their Nightmare Before Christmas themed shadows and it caught my eye immediately when browsing the site. It's a purple-gray color and I thoroughly enjoy it.

"Elite Four" is by far my favorite shadow. It's from the Super Effective collection and it is just such a gorgeous color, I'm in love with it. I'm actually thinking about ordering the full sized shadow right now and I haven't even used it. It's so shimmery and gorgeous, I'm in love.

"Cauldron" is actually a shade from Detrivore cosmetics, which I wasn't really aware of before purchasing, but it's beautiful nonetheless. It's a color that's unlike any other color I have and I'm excited to use it!

"Cognitive Recalibration" is the free sample that they sent to me in my order and I must say that it's gorgeous. I have no idea which collection it's from, but it's SO pretty and I cannot wait to use it.

In conclusion, I am very VERY impressed with this makeup company and I look forward to buying from them again. Their products are gorgeous and pigmented and there's nothing bad I can say about them.

Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer Review

I am very VERY disappointed with this primer. I used it before I put on my eyeshadow and upon returning home and inspecting it, my eyeshadow is nearly completely gone. I would not recommend this AT ALL. The eyeshadows are beautiful, but the primer is horrible and not worth your $11.

Concrete Minerals Haul~

Today I received my Concrete Minerals order. It shipped and arrived very quickly, which is something that I always like. I ordered their primer and an eyeshadow in the color "Infinity". I haven't tried the products yet, but I have swatched the eyeshadow and the samples that came in the package. I received two samples in "Wicked" & "Jezebel", two gorgeous colors that I'm excited to try out.

Here are a couple of pictures of the products & samples I received.

Here is a swatch of the eyeshadow I purchased as well. I thought it would be more of a matte blue color, but it looks much more green than I expected. Nevertheless, I like it and I can't wait to try it. I apologize for the small swatch. It's not swatched over anything, I just rubbed some on my hand.

I'm really excited to try this eye primer. I've heard a lot of good things about it and it feels very creamy. Definitely stoked about this product.

A swatch of the sample, "Wicked", I received in my package.

This is a swatch of the sample, "Jezebel", which is a beautiful deep purple color.
(Once again, these are not swatched over anything, this is their true color without primer.)

Overall, I'm super excited to try these products. I also received a coupon for 15% off my next purchase from them, and I will definitely be purchasing from them again. I can already tell that these shadows will be beautiful on the eye. I'll include a link to Concrete Minerals' website in case you guys wanna check it out. Thanks so much for reading, I hope this helped!

Hannah ♥
